Reading, PA – Second seed Medaille College erased a 2-1 halftime deficit with four unanswered goals in the second half of Saturday evening's Eastern States Athletic Conference (ECAC) South Region men's soccer semifinal match at Alvernia University on their way to a 5-2 win over third-seeded Marywood University.  The Mavericks improve to 19-3-1 and advance to Sunday's championship game against Swarthmore College while the Pacers end their season with a 13-6-1 record.

Medialle struck first on Saturday night as George Tor scored from close range off a feed from David Pihlblad in the 15th minute of play.   Marywood equalized just over five minutes later though as Richard Fifi took a pass from Josh Bausch and blasted a low right-footed shot just inside the far post.

Just over 10 minutes later, the Pacers took a 2-1 lead when Brett Megee controlled a ball off a Christian Lawlor shot that was cleared off the goal line by a Maverick defender and ripped home his fifth tally of the season, and the 26th of his career, as the senior added a final tally to his program-record goal total.

Marywood held the one-goal advantage at halftime, but Medialle accounted for all four goals of the second half to take the win.  Tor's second goal of the game in the 55th minute leveled the contest at two apiece before Matt Brehm scored the eventual game-winner in the 67th minute, just over a minute before Tor completed his hat-trick on a breakaway.  The Mavericks tacked on an additional tally in the final minute of the contest to close out the scoring.

Medialle held a 16-11 advantage in shots for the game while Marywood had a 5-2 edge in corner kicks.

Jimmy Frascati made three save to pick up the win for the Mavericks while Pacers' goalkeeper Jared El Gayeh made four saves in the loss.

Saturday's contest marked the final game in a Marywood uniform for seniors Megee and Jordan Krawitz.
