Lepri Earns All-CSAC Accolades

Aston, PA - Marywood University men's basketball standout Matt Lepri has earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors as the Colonial States Athletics Conference announced its men's basketball end of the year awards and all-conference teams.  Lepri's fellow classmate James Lavan was named to the CSAC All-Sportsmanship team. 

Lepri was selected as a team captain and earned two CSAC weekly awards during his senior campaign.  He was named CSAC Player of the Week for week ending November 27, 2011 and was named to the CSAC Player of the Week Honor Roll for the week ending January 15, 2012.  The senior forward averaged 12.3 points per game, led the Pacers with 16 blocks and was second on the team with 133 rebounds.  Lepri started in all 23 games in which he participated, missing only two games during his senior year due to injury.

Lavan, also a team captain, was named to the All-Sportsmanship team. Lavan play71 assists and had 29 steals while averaging 4.9 points per game.

Marywood finished the 2011-12 season with a 8-17 mark and were 7-11 in league play.  For a complete listing of the end of the year award winners and all-conference teams, click here.
