Marywood Searching for Full-Time Head Field Hockey Coach

Scranton, PA - Marywood University Director of Athletics and Recreation Dr. Mary Jo Gunning has announced that applications are invited for the full-time Head Field Hockey/Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach position at Marywood University. The primary responsibilities include: recruiting, scheduling and related duties involved with head coaching a NCAA Division III field hockey program and assistant coaching a women's lacrosse program.  Additional responsibilities include administrative duties involving transfer eligibility compliance and marketing venues.
 
The successful applicant is required to have a minimum of a bachelor's degree and field hockey coaching experience, preferably at the Division III college/university level. Lacrosse coaching experience is preferred as well as a general knowledge of intercollegiate athletics and NCAA policies and compliance issues; strong interpersonal, planning and organizational abilities; and, excellent oral and written communications skills. Competence with technology resources and a current driver's license are vital to fulfilling the responsibilities of this position.  Energetic self-starters who understand and appreciate the University's mission and traditions are encouraged to apply.
