Aston, PA – Marywood University women's basketball senior standouts Mariah Schaeffer and Allison Bruet were named All-Conference today as the Colonial States Athletic Conference announced its year-end awards and all-conference teams.  Schaeffer was named Second Team All-Conference while Bruet earned a spot on the Honorable Mention squad.  Additionally, Carly Leitzel was named to the conference's All-Sportsmanship Team.
 
Schaeffer notched her third-straight All-Conference selection this season after appearing in all 25 games to date and averaging 9.8 points per game during the regular season.  The senior guard leads Marywood with 246 points on the season and sits in sixth place on the Pacers' all-time scoring list.  A co-captain, Schaeffer has connected on 40.3 percent of her shots from the field this year and has added 65 rebounds, 51 assists, and 34 steals.
 
Bruet was named All-Conference Honorable Mention for the second-consecutive season following an outstanding senior campaign in the Pacers' backcourt.  The guard leads the team with 68 steals and is tied for the team-high with 53 assists on the year.  Bruet has also netted 224 points this season, averaging 9.0 points per game, and sits just one point shy of reaching the 1,000 point milestone for her career.
 
Leitzel was selected to the All-Sportsmanship Team following a solid sophomore season in which she leads Marywood with 130 rebounds and a 26.2 minutes per game average.  In her second year in a Pacers' uniform, the guard is second on the team with a 41.1 percent field goal percentage.  Leitzel has also contributed 52 steals and 34 assists this season.
