Moosic, PA - Marywood University men's golf captain Paul Kania fired a 82 on day two to give him a two-day total of 159, good enough for second place overall, as the Pacers closed out their 2012-13 golf season with a fourth place finish at the CSAC Championships.  Marywood, who was in third place after shooting a team total of 337, scored a 355 on day two for a 692 total.  Immaculata won the event with a 654 over two days and Cabrini College leap-frogged Marywood and Centenary to claim runner-up rights.

Immaculata held a eight-stroke lead over Centenary after day one with a 328 to the Cyclones 336. Marywood was one shot off of second with a 337.  Cabrini stood in fourth after a 341 on the first day, but shot twenty strokes better on day two (321) to jump ahead of both Marywood (fourth place) and Centenary, who finished third with a 676.

Marywood made remarkable improvement in only their second season of competition. The Pacers finished in 7th place of nine teams last season, and climbed to 4th out of eight this season.

Playing the 6,339 yard par-71 Glenmaura National Golf Club in Moosic, Centenary's Steve Kluemper took home medalist honors by shooting a 75 on both days for a 150 total, eight strokes above par.  Kania was second with his 159 while Aaron Harper form Immaculata was third with a 160.  Marywood's Dalton Deardorff tied with three others for fourth place after shooting 81s on both days for a +20 total of 162.
