Glenside, PA - The Marywood University men's soccer team opened its season with a scoreless 0-0 double overtime tie Saturday at Arcadia University. The Pacers were outshot 22-12 but held the Knights without a goal for Marywood's first shutout since Oct. 17, 2012 at Neumann University.

Arcadia held an 11-4 advantage in shots on goal. The Knights also claimed a 8-3 margin in corner kicks.

The Pacers' Justin Sunseri made 10 saves to earn a clean sheet in his first career start in net. Ryan Lantzey stopped four shots to record a shutout for the Knights.
Daniel Hull had a team-high three shots.

Marywood will co-host the Marywood/Wilkes Tournament next weekend in Scranton. The Pacers will face Widener University on Sept. 7 at 4:00 pm and take on Stevenson University the following day at 4 pm.
