Scranton, Pa. - On Saturday, September 9, Marywood University and Wilkes University will team up to run a benefit fundraiser for former Marywood assistant coach and Wilkes alumna Nina (Kocylowski) Herbst and her entire family. Tragically, the entire family (Nina, husband Bryan, their four children and a cousin) were struck by a car while walking as pedestrians in their neighborhood. While the family is upgraded to fair condition and improving daily, they will require extensive phsyical therapy and some additional surgeries. The fundraiswer will help offset medical expenses.
You can read the story
here and donate on a

More details soon, but, on Saturday, Sept 9 - 1pm, Marywood hosts Wilkes in non-conference women's soccer action. The fundraiser will also run through halftime of the 4:00 pm men's soccer game versus Ursinus.
