Lindsay (Pappas) Pagniucci graduated from Marywood University in 2003 after establishing nearly every offensive record during her four year career on the women’s soccer team.  A 1999 graduate of Meyers High School in Wilkes-Barre, Pagniucci came to Marywood after a brief stop at Division I Mount St. Mary’s University in Maryland.  After attending pre-season week in Maryland during her freshman year, Pagniucci quickly transferred to Marywood where she made an immediate impact on the women’s soccer program.

In the program’s inaugural 1998 season, the Pacers finished with a 2-10 mark.  As a freshman in 1999 Pagniucci led the Pacers to an 8-12 record and the striker garnered national attention as she finished the season ranked in the top five of all Division III women’s soccer players in three offensive categories.  She finished ranked 2nd in the country in goals scored for the 1999 season with 31, third in goals per game average with 1.55, and fifth in points per game with 3.40.

Pagniucci led the Pacers to a four-year record of 41-34-2 and the program’s first ever conference playoff berth in 2001.  Named the 1999 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) Co-Rookie of the Year, Pagniucci was a four-year All-PAC First Team selection and was team MVP in 1999, 2000 and 2001.  A three-year (2000-2002) captain, Pagniucci was a member of the PAC Academic Honor Roll for four years as well.

Named the Marywood Senior Student-Athlete of the Year for the 2002-2003 academic year, Pagniucci still holds numerous records in the women’s soccer record books.  She ranks first as the single season record holder for goals (31) and points (68) and is the career record holder for goals (71) and points (171) while ranking second in games started and played with 76 apiece and in assists (tied for 2nd with 29).  She also holds single game records for most goals in a game (6) and points in a game (13), both of which she accomplished against Alvernia on September 27, 1999.

After graduating from Marywood in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, Pagniucci attended Western Carolina University and graduated in 2006 with a Masters of Art in School Psychology.  Currently a Doctoral candidate in Educational Psychology at National-Louis University in Skokie, Illinois, Pagniucci is married to husband Michael and the couple has one daughter, Lila (pronounced Lyla).  They currently reside in Philadelphia.
