Marywood University Athletics

Maureen McBride Long is a graduate of Marywood's Class of 1981. During her time at Marywood, Maureen earned 12 varsity letters. In field hockey she earned the team's Most Valuable Defensive Player Award during each of her four seasons.

In basketball, she set a school record when she grabbed 31 rebounds in a game against Wilkes University. Maureen finished her basketball career at Marywood with 927 points and 712 rebounds.

In the spring, Maureen turned her attention to the softball field where she was the Pacers starting catcher for four years.
