Williamsport, Pa. – Marywood University earned a sweep over Lycoming College in a dual meet Saturday. The women's team dominated the Warriors 207-43, and the men's squad narrowly prevailed 98-96.
Marywood won all 14 women's events.
Camila Gil earned first in all three individual races. She took wins in the 200 free (2:09.03), 100 free (59.58) and 100 breaststroke (1:15.86).
Molly Englehardt swept the distance freestyle events, capturing the 1,000 free (12:05.56) and 500 free (5:52.44.).
Marywood opened with a win in the 200 medley relay as Tori Sills, Gil, Emerson Gellert and Catelyn Lieser clocked a 2:04.71 finish. The Pacers bookended the meet with another relay victory in the 200 freestyle. Kylee Koratich, Izzy Kremer, Aubrey Mangan and Englehardt produced a 1:52.11 victory.
Marywood spread the victories around with six total swimmers capturing individual wins. Harper Welker claimed the 100 backstroke in 1:09.87. Mangan produced first in the 200 breaststroke in 2:53.98. Koratic touched first in the 100 butterfly in 1:07.11. Gellert garnered a win in the 200 IM in 2:32.44.
On the men's side, Marywood secured its narrow win with key finishes late in the meet.
Alex Corcoran was a three-time winner in the 100 free (55.41), 100 breast (1:12.46), and 200 breast (2:48.18).
Sam O'Sullivan won the 100 back in 1:02.38, and Alex McCarey added a win in the 200 backstroke in 2:16.3.
Aiding Marywood's victory, the Pacers recorded the top two times in the 100 back, 100 breast, 100 free, and 200 breast.
McCarey's third place finish in the 200 IM cemented the Pacers' win.
The Pacers (5-1 women, 3-3 men) return to action at the Electric City Invitational during the next two weekends. Diving will take place on Saturday, Nov. 15, and Swimming will be the weekend of Nov. 21-23.
