Ithaca, NY - Ithaca College scored two goals in the first five minutes, including one in the first 18-seconds of play, as the Bombers, who started the season ranked #8 in the country, topped visiting Marywood University 4-0 Wednesday afternoon. Ithaca improved to 2-1 with the win while Marywood drops to 2-2.

Ithaca scored just 18 seconds into the match when sophomore Rachael Palladino took advantage of a defensive miscue and pushed a cross from classmate Caroline Jastremski into an open net. Palladino added the game's final goal, converting a long pass from freshman Jackie Rodabaugh for her third goal of the season and the 15th of her career.

Rodabaugh collected her team-best fifth goal in the fifth minute, scoring off a blocked shot by Marywood goalkeeper Meghan Coyle (Endicott, NY). Megan Trager scored her first goal of the season on a shot from the top of the box that curved past the goalkeeper. Sophomore Julie Winn assisted on Trager's goal for her first career point.

Ithaca outshot the Pacers 27-5. Seniors Jessica Platt and Alyssa Sotomayor shared the shutout with Platt, who made her first start of the season, registering the Bombers' only two saves.

Coyle made 10 saves for Marywood, who was playing its third straight match against an Empire 8 opponent (the Pacers beat Hartwick and Utica over the weekend).

The Bombers host #23 Plattsburgh Saturday at 1 pm while Marywood will enjoy one week off before hosting Misericordia University next Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
