The Pacers Club is an organization exclusively dedicated to athletics and the student-athletes who represent Marywood University. PACERS CLUB GOLF OUTING
The Marywood University Pacers Club holds it major fundraiser, the Pacers Club Golf Outing, every year. 2024's event brought in over $40,000 in donations for our Athletic Department and teams. The support of those who participate and volunteer is greatly appreciated. We look forward to continuing the growth of the Pacers Club and the success of our athletic programs through the golf outing and several other events throughout the year.
The 2025 Pacers Club Golf Outing will take place on Monday, September 15, 2025 at Sand Springs Golf Club in Drums, Pa. Online registration is available at the link below. For more information on the Golf Outing, call at 570-961-4724 and ask for Andrew Smith or Julie Trott, or email athletics@marywood.edu. For cocktail hour/dinner only, the fee is $100. Hole sponsorships, separate from the entrance fee, are $175. Flag sponsorships (only 18 available) are $250. Both directly benefit teams if designated.

Established during the 1999-2000 academic year and renamed in 2019 in honor of retired Director of Athletics and Recreation Dr. Mary Jo Gunning, the "Dr. Mary Jo Gunning Award, presented by the Pacers Club" recognizes a senior athlete who is not necessarily the best athlete, highest scorer, or the athlete with the highest GPA, but has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to his or her team, Marywood University, and the community at large.
