ALL SCHEDULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE

Please call 570-961-4724 for updated schedules. Due to classes and varsity athletics, hours may vary. Classes and athletic schedules take priority. Equipment is available for use by Marywood students, faculty, staff, and administration

Marywood ID or a Rec Membership pass must be shown at the front desk to gain entry. Please also sign in at the front desk. 

*If the University is closed a full day due to inclement weather the fitness center, track and arena will be open 1-5 pm unless otherwise noted below.  There will be no pool hours
*If the University closes mid-day due to inclement weather (i.e., noon), all facilities will be closed as well.

The arena and indoor track are available for recreational use from 7 am until closing each day (with the exception of times reserved for scheduled classes, practices and games). 

FITNESS CENTER 

(Fall 2025)

CENTER FOR ATHLETICS AND WELLNESS: 7 a.m.-9 p.m. (Weekdays); 9 a.m.-3 p.m. (Saturdays); Noon to 9 p.m. (Sundays)

ROCK CLIMBING WALL: TBA

AQUATICS CENTER: Open swim hours available on Aquatics Center page

FITNESS CLASSES

 

Classes are free for students, $5 for faculty/staff/recreation members, not open to the public. All classes are held in the dance studio in the Center for Athletics and Wellness. All attendees must sign in and show identification at the front desk. 

MONDAYS

Pilates/Barre Fusion — 4:30 p.m. (alternating weeks starting August 25)
Barre Fusion combines exercises performed at the barre in combination with traditional Pilates techniques
Yoga — 6 p.m.
Body Zone — 7 p.m.
Three-to-four rounds of 13-minute exercises. Each class will focus on different muscle groups and exercises

WEDNESDAYS

HIIT — 7 p.m.
Focused on high intensity interval training with 30-to-45 second rest periods in between sets

SATURDAYS

Power Flow Yoga — 9 a.m.
Provides a vigorous workout that builds strength, increases flexibility, and improves cardiovascular health. Expect a fast-paced class with sun salutations, standing poses, and core work. Challenge your strength and balance!
