Men's Golf Takes Fifth at Moravian Weyhill Classic

Fountain Hill, Pa. - Marywood University men's golf finished fifth out of eight teams at Moravian College's Weyhill Classic on Monday. The event was held at the Saucon Valley Country Club -- Weyhill Course.

Marywood finished with a 335 (+47). The Pacers finished ahead of future Middle Atlantic Conference foes Delaware Valley (343) and Misericordia (350).

On the Par 72 course, Baden Hancock hit a 77 (8-over par) to tie for fifth place out of 45 golfers. Hancock birdied both the fourth and 12th holes.

Donato Stridacchio was tied for 17th with an 82 (10-over pair), birdying the fifth hole. Ryan Wittenberg came in 25th place with an 85.

Ken Ward rounded out the Pacers' golders with a 99.

Marywood will host Lycoming and Mount Saint Mary (N.Y.) on Wednesday at the Stone Hedge Gofl Course in Tunkhannock.
