Patrick Lloyd

Patrick Lloyd was named Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach at Marywood in August 2019. The current Northeast Director of Operations for the Golf Association of Philadelphia, Lloyd brings 11 years of collegiate Head Coaching experience and over 20 years of administrative golf experience to the Pacers. 

In the 2020-21 season, Lloyd led both the men's and women's teams to runner-up finishes at the Atlantic East Championships and was named the women's golf coach of the year. In 2021-22, the men's team also finished as Conference runner-up and freshman Francesco Pazzaglia was named the AEC Rookie of the Year. 

Lloyd served as the Head Golf Coach at Lackawanna College from August 2006 through January 2018.  There, he oversaw all aspects of the golf program, including recruiting, training, purchasing, scheduling and fundraising.  In 11 seasons at Lackawanna, Lloyd had a record of 438-39-3 in Region XIX matches.  He coached 14 All-Region players, nine Ping GCAA East Region All-Americans and three National All-Americans.

The Falcons made 10 NJCAA National Championship appearances under Lloyd and were ranked in the Top 15 nationally for eight years.  He was named the Region 19 Division II Coach of the Year 10 times during his tenure at Lackawanna.

From April 1999 through December 2017, Lloyd served as the Executive Director of the Antracite Golf Association.  As Executive Director, Lloyd conducted all business of the Association including purchasing, finance, staffing and scheduling.  He maintained all correspondence with member clubs, oversaw amateur status for the region and organized and assisted with all regional USGA seminars and updates.  In addition to overseeing the Junior Scholarship/Golf Tournament program, he oversaw the office and its staff, including the USGA P.J. Boatright Jr. program and helped maintain USGA license agreements with the Association.

A 2003 graduate of Temple University with a B.S. in Secondary Education (Social Studies), Lloyd currently resides in Honesdale.
