Amanda Einsig enters her second year as the Athletic Communications and Operations Specialist for the 2024-25 season.
Einsig was a five-year softball player at both the Division II and III levels. She played for four seasons at Lock Haven, leading the Bald Eagles to a PAC championship in 2019. She batted .291 with 15 runs and 11 RBIs. Einsig hit for .392 with an .898 OPS during the 2022 campaign.
Einsig was selected MAC Commonwealth Second Team and NFCA All-Region Second Team at York College of Pennsylvania in 2023. She was the Tournament MVP in the Spartans' Commonwealth Championship run. Criss finished her season with a 2.94 ERA with a 13-8 record and 115 strikeouts. At the plate, Criss batted .286 with 12 RBIs.
During the 2021 season, Einsig was the gameday intern with the Baltimore Orioles' Class-A affiliate Aberdeen Ironbirds. She assisted fans with ticketing services, helped with merchandising buys, and created fan engagement between innings.
She worked as a volunteer at the NCAA College Football Playoffs National Championships in New Orleans and Indianapolis for two seasons. She assisted fans in customer service, collected recycled, guided fans to sections, and helped enhance fan experience.
Einsig was also part of the game day operations staff at Lock Haven events. She worked as an usher at Penn State football games for four years.
Einsig served on the Student-Athletic Advisory Board at Lock Haven, and she was the secretary of the Sports Management Club.
A native of Bel Air, Maryland, Einsig received her bachelor's degree in sports management from Lock Haven. She has two master's degrees: a Master of Science in Sports Management from Lock Haven and a Master's of Art in Integrated Marketing and Communications at York College of Pennsylvania.
Einsig resides in Moscow with husband Jonah, and cats Ranger and Eggs. She is an avid Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens fan.
