Gwynedd Valley, PA - 110 minutes of play was not enough to determine a winner as Marywood University battled PAC foe Gwynedd-Mercy College to a 0-0 tie in women's soccer action Wednesday afternoon in Gwynedd Valley, PA. The tie moves the Pacers to 8-3-1 (4-1-1 PAC) on the year while the Griffins registered their fourth tie of the season and stand at 1-8-4 (1-3-2 PAC).
The host Griffins out-shot the Pacers 12-6 on the day, but Marywood net-minder Meghan Coyle (Endicott, NY) registered four saves to collect her fifth solo shut-out of the season and Marywood's seventh. Kristie Pollock did her part for Gwynedd-Mercy, registering three saves to earn her shut-out.
Marywood returns to action Saturday when the Pacers travel to Radnor, PA to face Cabrini College in PAC action at 3:00 pm.
