Immaculata, PA - Immaculata University women's volleyball team fell to Marywood University 3-0 (30-28, 31-29, 30-10) in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Saturday, October 6, in Alumnae Hall. Natasha Freethy (Honesdale, PA) led the Pacers with 17 kills, which improved to 5-11 overall and earned their first PAC win of the 2007 campaign (1-5).
Lizzy Green (Shenandoah, PA) added 13 kills for the Pacers, while Katie Coyne (Stony Point, NY) had a match-high 30 assists for Marywood. Katie McCormick (Perkasie, PA) led the Pacers defensively with eight digs.
The Mighty Macs (3-12, 0-7 PAC) were led by sophomore Jayme Lenosky amassed five kills, four digs and four blocks, while junior Lisa Bifulco recorded four kills, two assists, three digs, and two blocks. Junior Alexis Erazo garnered three kills and eight digs, while senior Meredith Smith registered three kills, three service aces, five digs and 11 assists.
Marywood returns to action next Saturday with a 1:00 pm match at Alvernia College in Reading, PA.
