Allentown, PA – Marywood University fell to 3-8 (0-3 PAC) as the visiting Pacers fell to host Cedar Crest College in three straight games Saturday morning at the Cedar Crest College Tri-Match in Allentown.
Cedar Crest, who improved to 5-6 with the win, got 11 kills from Mackenzie Lee and 10 from Amanda Dombroski to lead the Falcon attack. Lauren Seale dished out 27 assists on the day as the Falcons won 30-25, 30-12 and 30-22.
Marywood was led by Natasha Freethy and Taryn Borden who each had 7 kills, while Katie Coyne had 21 assists.
Marywood played Villa Julie in the second match and fell in three games as well, losing 30-12, 30-17 and 30-24. The Villa Julie loss puts the Pacers at 3-9 overall on the year. Marywood will play host to Neumann College Monday evening at the Insalaco Arena at 7:00 pm.
