Rosemont, PA – Marywood University fell at #1 singles and #1 doubles but swept remaining action as the visiting Pacers came out of Rosemont College with a 7-2 PAC win Sunday afternoon in women's tennis action. The win moves the Pacers to 3-5 (2-3 PAC) on the year, while the Ramblers remain winless at 0-6 (0-5 PAC).
At #1 singles, Priyanka Reddy topped Ryann Null (Cogan Station, PA) 6-4, 6-0 and Reddy teamed with Kristy Bannon to defeat Null and Alesha Petrash (Mountaintop, PA) 8-4 at #1 doubles, but Marywood responded with victories at two and three doubles and 2-6 singles for the win.
Petrash defeated Kristy Bannon 6-3, 6-4 at 2 doubles, while Aubrey Klesh (Hazleton, PA), Michaela Herr (Boalsburg, PA), Bethanie LeCureux (Jamison, PA) and Victoria Kresse (Milford, PA) won at 3-6 singles, respectively for Marywood.
Marywood returns to action Thursday when they host King's College in a non-conference match at 4:00 pm.
