Radnor, PA - Marywood University battled back from a two-goal deficit early in the game only to fall to host Cabrini College 3-2 on strokes after a 2-2 double-overtime tie Wednesday afternoon in the CSAC semifinals. The Cavaliers, now 16-4, advance to Saturday's Championship game after winning the shootout, 3-0.

After being down 2-0 just ten minutes into the game on a penalty stroke goal by Cabrini's Melissa Benedetti and on a Maura Gordon goal, the Pacers began to pick up momentum and responded at the 14:31 mark on a goal by Mary Potorski (Bear Creek, PA). Potorski's goal was assisted by Julie Dougherty (Wading River, NY). Then, four minutes later, senior Caitlin Hadzimichalis (Harmony, NJ) netted the game-tying goal after one-timing a Potorski pass from 12 yards out.

The score would remain a 2-2 deadlock througout the remainder of regulation and two 15-minute sudden-death overtime periods. In strokes, the Cavaliers netted their first three attempts while Marywood missed their opportunities. Marywood closes their season with an overall record of 10-9.
