Marywood Moves to 4-0 With Win Over Misericordia

Dallas, PA – Making their Pennsylvania Athletic Conference debut, Marywood got a seven-point effort from William Roerden as the Pacers went on to  defeat Misercordia 14-5 on a rainy afternoon at the Cougars' Mangelsdorf Field. With the win, the Pacers' record remains unblemished at 4-0 overall in 1-0 in the PAC, while the loss drops the Cougars to 1-4 on the season and 0-1 in conference play.
 
Roerden (Warwick, NY) scored five goals and added two assists to lead the Pacers, who had five players register multiple points. Ryne Boyle (Farmingville, NY) netted three goals and dished out two assists while Nick Parks (Emmaus, PA) added a goal and two helpers. 
 
Brian Roerden (Warwick, NY) tallied two goals and an assist on the afternoon, while Stephan Klepfer (Binghamton, NY) contributed a goal and two assists.
 
George Downey IV (Palmyra, PA) and Andrew Lozoskie (Forest Hill, MD) also scored in the Pacers' victory.
Ed Raso had two goals for Misericordia and Kevin Malkin added a goal and an assist. Jameson Kimball and Jared Smith both added a goal for the Cougars.
 
Jesse Habich (Broomall, PA) picked up his third-straight win in net for Marywood after making eight saves.  Bill Hack took the loss despite making 18 saves for the Misericordia.
 
The Pacers will enjoy more than a week off before returning to action on Saturday, March 29th against Centenary College in a PAC contest scheduled to face-off at 1:00 in Hackettstown, NJ.
