Three Pacers Remain Unbeaten in Men's Tennis Win

St. Davids, PA - Marywood University's Kyle McGee, Joe Listanski and Greg Chilson all remained unbeaten at 1-3 singles play, respectively, as the Pacers knocked off host Eastern University 8-1 in PAC men's tennis action Saturday afternoon in St. Davids.  With the win Marywood remained unbeaten a 5-0 (2-0 PAC) while Eastern slipped to 1-8 (0-2 PAC).

McGee (Wynnewood, PA) and Listanski (Jessup, PA) knocked off Eric Walter and Taylor Kiser by identical 6-1, 6-1 scores as each moved to 5-0 on the year in singles action.  Chilson (Mountainside, NJ), who returned to the three-spot in the Pacer lineup after missing the Neumann match with an injury, topped Sean McGuinness 6-2, 6-0 to move to 4-0.  Tim Franzone (Staten Island, NY) and Dan Reynolds (Meriden, CT) each won at four and six singles, respectively, for Marywood.  Jonathan Falcone got Eastern's lone point of the day with a 6-0, 7-6 (7-2) win over Chad McKee (Coatesville, PA).

Marywood swept doubles action 8-5, 8-6 and 8-4.  The number one team of McGee and Reynolds improved to 4-1 with their 8-5 win over Walter and Kiser while Frazone and Listanksi remained perfect on the year at 5-0 at two doubles with an 8-6 win over McGuinness and Wilson.  Chilson and McKee moved to 4-1 as well with an 8-4 win over Falcone and Hall. 

Marywood returns to action Sunday when the Pacers host Keystone College (0-1) at 3:00 pm in an non-conference match.
