Marywood Rolls to 9-0 Win Over Keystone

Scranton, PA - Marywood University swept singles and doubles action as the host Pacers topped visiting Keystone College 9-0 in non-conference men's tennis action Sunday afternoon in Scranton.  The win moves the Pacers to 6-0 on the year while Keystone slips to 0-2.

Joe Listanski (Jessup, PA) remained unbeaten on the year (6-0) in singles action with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Dennis James at one-singles.  Greg Chilson (Mountainside, NJ) blanked Ryan Smith 6-0, 6-0 to move to 5-0, while Tim Franzone (Staten Island, NY) topped Ryan Cox 6-1, 6-1.  It took Chad McKee (Coatesville, PA) and John Domider (Somerville, NJ) three sets to top their Keystone counterparts at four and six singles, while Dan Reynolds (Meriden, CT) won at five-singles 6-0, 6-2.  McKee topped Shane Conway 6-2, 4-6, 10-6 and Domider defeated Keith Garubba 4-6, 6-2, 10-4.

In doubles, Listanski and Franzone, normally partners at two-doubles, won 8-0 at 1-doubles and remained unbeaten as a team at 6-0.  Reynolds teamed with Terry Ryan (East Stroudsburg, PA) at two-doubles for an 8-4 win over Shane and Deltorto, while Chilson and McKee won 8-2 at three-doubles over Cox and Moran.

Marywood returns to action Monday as the Pacers take on Alvernia College at 3:00 pm in a PAC match.
