Baltimore, MD – The College of the Notre Dame scored the first seven goals of the game and built a 14-3 halftime lead on their way to an 18-5 win over visiting Marywood Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Gators improved to 7-4 overall and 5-3 in the PAC while the Pacers record falls 1-9 and 1-7 in conference play.

Notre Dame got three goals from Amelia Yatto, two by Anne Shippen, and one from Lauren Terry to take a 7-0 lead with 17:54 to play in the first half. Alanna Waldron (Liverpool, NY) got the Pacers on the board with an unassisted goal at the 16:04 mark, but the Gators tallied six consecutive goals to build a commanding 13-1 lead.

Katlyn Fitzpatrick (Old Bridge, NJ) and Jen Silvestri (Warwick, NY) sandwiched Marywood goals around one by the Gators' Nicole McFeaters late in the opening half.

Marywood played a stronger second half and got a goal just 41 seconds into the stanza when Waldron found the back of the net unassisted. After Kristen Clarke scored unassisted for Notre Dame, Allie Sodl (Coplay, PA) set up Waldron's third goal of the contest with 16:35 to play. With the goal, the sophomore registered a hat-trick for the fourth consecutive game and brings her team-leading total to 25 on the season.

Notre Dame, who was led by Terry's four goals, scored the final three goals of the contest and remained in the fight for a postseason berth.

Amanda Arkwright made four saves to pick up the win for the Gators, who out-shot Marywood 38-11. Katie Sullivan (Merrick, NY) made 18 saves in net for the Pacers.

The Pacers will be back in action this Tuesday when they host Immaculata University in a Pennsylvania Athletic Conference contested scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
