St. Davids, PA – Marywood rallied from a two-goal deficit in the fourth quarter to draw even with Eastern only to see the Eagles score the next three goals on their way to a 9-6 win in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference action Wednesday afternoon. Eastern is now 3-7 overall in 2-1 in the PAC while Marywood's record now sits at 4-2 on the season and 1-2 in the conference as the Pacers dropped their second consecutive game.

Each team tallied a single goal in the opening stanza, as Nick Parks (Emmaus, PA) scored unassisted for Marywood at the 8:17 mark before Matt Colello answered off an assist from Nate Trunfio with 4:01 to play in the period.

Parks restored the Pacers' lead when he scored at the 11:10 mark of the second quarter and Ryne Boyle (Farmingville, NY) gave the Pacers a two-goal lead when he tallied off a feed from Jamie Beagen (Patchogue, NY).

The Eagles would score the game's next four goals and held a 5-3 lead heading into the final quarter. Beagen brought the Pacers to within one when he found net just 1:43 into the fourth quarter and George Downey IV (Palmyra, PA) won the ensuing face-off and raced down the field to score and knot the game at 5-5.

Nick Mandia scored his second goal of the game with 11:58 to play to put the Eagles back in front before Andrew Minnick and Michael Ryan tallied to give Eastern some breathing room.

Anthony Tuscai's (West Chester, PA) goal with 6:08 to play brought Marywood to within two goals with the score at 8-6, but the Pacers were unable to narrow the gap further as Mandia completed his hat-trick with 2:17 to play to put the game out of reach.

Eastern finished the afternoon with a 33-23 advantage in shots and a 40-31 edge in ground balls. The Eagles were one for six in extra-man opportunities while the Pacers were unable to convert in any of their six chances with the extra man.

Jesse Habich (Broomall, PA) took the loss despite making 15 saves for Marywood. Zach Rivest notched the win for Eastern by stopping 12 shots.

The Pacers will return home Saturday for a PAC match-up with Neumann College. The Pacers and Knights will face-off at 1:00 p.m.
