Alvernia made it 3-0 in the fifth when Michele Kassab reached on a one-out single and scored on a Dina Chiappelli line-drive that got past Marywood's left-fielder.

Lynch led off the sixth with her second bunt single of the game and quickly stole second base.  Sorrentino followed with her second single to score Lynch and was sacrificed ahead.  Lauren Crimi then connected on Alvernia's third single of the inning to put runners on the corner and Emily Williams followed with a line shot to center to score Sorrentino to make it 5-0.

Marywood threatened briefly in the seventh inning when they put runners on first and second with two out but Jensen recovered and struck out Marywood's final batter.  The Pacers were limited to just five  hits on the day by Jensen, who struck out eight batters for her 16th win of the year (16-3).
