Dallas, PA - Kelly Bergin scored the game's only goal and Jemila Najjar-Keith made it stand up as the Misericordia University women's soccer team beat Marywood, 1-0, Wednesday night at Mangelsdorf Field.

After several good scoring opportunities in the first half, Bergin ripped a shot off the crossbar and in the ensuing scramble in front of the net chipped in her own rebound at 46:03.

Najjar-Keith made a sliding save on Caitlin Light's breakaway attempt with under 10 minutes remaining and added three saves in a flurry in front of the goal in the final two minutes before Ashley McDonnell cleared a ball off the line with 1:15 to play to preserve the shutout.

Meghan Coyle made 10 saves for Marywood.  Marywood (2-3-1) will look to end their three-game skid with a trip to Delaware Valley College Saturday.  The Pacers have topped the Aggies in overtime in each of the last two seasons.
