Doylestown, PA – Johanna Lovallo had three goals and two assists and Elsie Dauber had two goals and an assist as host Delaware Valley College cruised to a 7-0 win over visiting Marywood University in non-conference women's soccer action Saturday afternoon in Doylestown.
Lovallo scored both first half goals for the Aggies, who improved to 3-0 on the year with the win. She then scored on a beautiful header which came off a cross from Dauber just :35 seconds into the second half to complete her hat-trick. Lovallo then returned the favor to Dauber, setting up the senior striker for her frist of two goals on the day. Dauber would then score on a breakaway to make it 5-0.
Nicki Martini scored on an Alyssa Krum assist at the 59:59 mark and Jacki Minnich scored on Lovallo's second assist less than a minute later to close out the scoring. The host Aggies held a 19-10 advantage in shots but made the most of their opportunities, putting most efforts on goal.
Marywood's Meghan Coyle (Endicott, NY) made six saves while Christina Diehl (Coopersburg, PA) made one. Cortney Bower made three stops for Delaware Valley to pick up her second consecutive shut-out.
Marywood (2-4-1) has now dropped four in a row and will look to rebound next Saturday when the Pacers host FDU-Florham in their final non-conference game of the year. Kickoff in Scranton is set for 1:00 pm.
