, PA – Playing for the fourth time in six days, visiting Marywood University notched its second straight win with a three games to one decision over Penn State-Harrisburg on Thursday evening. With the win, the Pacers improve to 3-8 on the season while the Lady Lions see their record slip to 5-4.
 
The Pacers took a pair of tight games to claim a two games to none advantage in the non-conference match, winning the first by a score of 25-23 before claiming the second by a 27-25 margin. PSU-Harrisburg would cut Marywood's advantage in half with a 25-22 win in the third game, but the Pacers would seal the victory with a 25-21 decision in the fourth game.
 
Marywood had three players record double-digit kills on the evening, led by Taryn Borden (Bridgewater, NJ) who had a match-high 17 kills. Emily Fillman (Clarion, PA) had 12 kills and Lizzy Green (Shenandoah, PA) added 11. 
 
Borden also contributed a team-high 17 digs, while Arielle Cassidy (Garwood, NJ) added 15. Riona Corr (Somersworth, NH), who had a match-high 38 assists, was also credited with 10 digs on the evening.
 
The Pacers will next be in action this Saturday when they travel to Aston, PA to take on Neumann College in a Colonial States Athletic Conference match-up scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
