Allentown, PA – Marywood University opened the conference portion of it schedule with a convincing 7-0 win over Cedar Crest College in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) match-up on Tuesday afternoon. With the win, the Pacers evened their record at 4-4-1 (1-0 CSAC) while the Falcons fell to 0-6 (0-1 CSAC).

Marywood got on the board just 8:45 into the contest as Kaitlyn Miller (Trumansburg, NY) scored her first goal of the season on a one-time finish off a cross from Mandy Costello (Sussex, NJ). Just under two minutes later, the duo again combined for a nearly identical goal, as Miller netted her second goal of the match by converting a Costello cross.

The Pacers stretched their lead to 3-0 at the 22:07 mark when Leslie Highman (North Brunswick, NJ) tallied her first goal of the season by heading home a Stephanie Hoffman (Binghamton, NY) corner kick.

Costello registered her third assist of the afternoon by setting up Claudia Mazza's (Binghamton, NY) first goal of the season 30:55 into the opening half and
Costello scored a goal of her own at the 33:52 mark by finding the net after taking a pass from Erica Mechalke (Elmira, NY) to give the visitors a comfortable 5-0 lead at halftime.   Costello's goal was her team-leading fourth of the season.

Kelcie Reightler (Jim Thorpe, PA) became the fourth Pacer to net her first goal of the season by scoring to the far post after taking a long thru-ball from Elise Tracy (Kirkwood, NY) in the fifty-third minute of action.

Taylor Simmons (Hopewell Junction, NY) closed out the scoring by finishing a one-time shot from the corner of the 18-yard box of a feed from Jen Cady (Troupsburg, NY) at 70:18.

Marywood, who held a 51-1 advantage in shots and an 7-1 edge in corner kicks, got its second straight shutout from Megan Coyle (Endicott, NY).  April Johnson made 23 stops in goal for the Falcons.

The Pacers will return to action on Saturday when the host Philadelphia Biblical University in a CSAC game scheduled to kickoff at 12:00 noon.
