Allentown, PA - Mariah Schaeffer scored a game-high 21 Amanda Lass came off the bench to score 20 points to lead Marywood to an 85-79 victory over Cedar Crest College in Colonial States Athletic Conference action on Monday evening in Lees Gymnasium.  With the win, Marywood improves to 8-6 overall all and evens their conference mark at 3-3 while the Falcons slip to 6-7 on the season and 2-4 in the CSAC.

Cedar Crest held a 43-36 advantage at the half and held that lead until the 10 minute mark in the second half.  The contest was tied three more times and the lead changed twice over the final four minutes until Marywood hit some key free throws in the final minute to seal the game.

Schaeffer (Bainbridge, NY) netted her 21 points by connecting on seven of 16 shots from the floor and six of nine free throws.  Lass (Brackney, PA) shot a solid eight for 12 from the field and a perfect four of four from the charity stripe.  Marielle Thorsen (Belvidere, NJ) was the third Pacer to reach double figures by tallying 18 points on the evening.

Cedar Crest freshman Lizzy Sunderhaus and junior Kelly Oakes each recorded a double-double in the loss posted a team-high 18 points, 10 boards, and eight assists, while Oakes finished with 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

The Pacers will be back in action this Thursday when they meet up with conference rival Baptist Bible College. Game time is slated for 6:00 p.m. in Marywood's Insalaco Arena.
