BOX SCORE

Radnor, PA - Cabrini College eclipsed their win total from a year ago with a 71-48 win over visiting Marywood University Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.  The win moves the Cavaliers to 13-5 (6-3 CSAC) while Marywood falls to 11-7 (5-5 CSAC).  Saturday's win at Nerney Field House also avenges the Cavaliers' 89-85 loss at the hands of the Pacers January 15.

Senior guard Ryan Oxley powered the Cabrini offense, scoring a season and game-high 20 points on 7-for-12 shooting overall. He drained a season-best 6-of-9 three-point attempts.  Junior forward Kevin Misevicius followed up his record-breaking 41-point performance from Thursday with 19 points on 8-for-16 shooting versus the Pacers. He also grabbed six rebounds and swiped four steals.

The Cavaliers out-scored Marywood 44-30 in the first half behind a 57.1 percent shooting clip. The Cabrini offense converted 20-of-35 field goals, including four three-pointers from Oxley alone.  The Cavaliers imporved their record to a perfect 11-0 when leading at intermission.

The Pacer's attack struggled to find any rhythm on the offensive end in the second half, shooting just 22.7 percent from the field. Marywood connected on 5-of-22 attempts in the closing period.

The Cavaliers' defense forced a season-best 24 turnovers. The Blue & Gray offense turned the Pacers' miscues into 29 points. Cabrini also out-scored Marywood 27-16 in the paint.

Prince Blacknall (Stroudsburg, PA) had 14 points for Marywood while Sidney Tharpe (Victorville, CA) added 11.  Marywood returns to action Monday when the Pacers host conference leading Gwynedd-Mercy College at 8:00 pm in the Insalaco Arena.
