Scranton, PA – Carly Bergstrom scored a pair of goals, both assisted by Amber Mohrmann, to help Marywood University comeback for a 3-2 victory over Immaculata University in Colonial States Athletic Conference action Saturday afternoon. With the win the Pacers improve to 4-7 on the year and 2-3 in conference play while the Mighty Macs drop to 3-8 overall and 1-4 in conference play.

Immaculata would take a 1-0 lead just one minute into Saturday's game when Maureen Town fed Kathleen Garrity who scored to give the visitors the early lead. Marywood would equalize at the 19:52 mark of the game when Dana Sweeney (Sussex, NJ) scored off an assist from Brittany Beaton (Fleetwood, PA).

The Mighty Macs would reclaim their lead just over three minutes later when Katherine Becker scored an unassisted goal, but again the Pacers responded as Bergstrom (Raritan, NJ) netted her first goal of the game off a pass from Mohrmann (Prompton, PA) just 1:23 before halftime.

Bergstrom gave Marywood its first lead of the contest by finding the back of the cage after taking another feed from Mohrmann just under 15 minutes into the second half. Bergstrom's goal would stand as the game-winner as the Pacers' defense limited the Mighty Macs to just two second half shots.

Jamie Bowman (Cheshire, CT) made four saves to pick up the victory while Immaculata goalie Brittany Worthington made five saves in a losing effort.

Marywood held an 8-6 advantage in shots for the game while both teams finished with eight penalty corners apiece.

The Pacers will be looking for their third consecutive win on Tuesday afternoon when they visit Neumann University for a CSAC match-up scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. in Aston, PA.
