Immaculata, PA – Marywood University's volleyball teamed clinched a berth in the upcoming Colonial States Athletic Conference playoffs with a three games to one win over Immaculata University on Thursday evening. Three different Pacers recorded double-digits kills as Marywood improves to 9-14 on the season and finishes with a 7-4 conference mark.

The Mighty Macs, now 6-15 on the year (4-6 CSAC), claimed a tight first game, 26-24, before Marywood responded with three straight wins to claim the team's first postseason berth since 2006. The Pacers took claimed a 25-19 decision in game two and a 25-22 win in game three before closing out the Mighty Macs 25-21 in the fourth.

Taryn Borden (Bridgewater, NJ) had a game-high 17 kills for Marywood while adding 14 digs. Emily Fillman (Clarion, PA) contributed 13 kills and 19 digs while Lizzy Green (Shenandoah, PA) was the third Pacer in double-digit kills with 12.

Riona Corr (Somersworth, NH), who had a game-high 44 assists, tied Fillman with 19 digs. Arielle Cassidy (Garwood, NJ) registered 14 digs in the win for Marywood, who finished the evening with 60 kills and 77 digs.

Immaculata was paced by Jayme Lenosky's 11 kill, 15 digs performance. Kathleen Haefner led the Mighty Macs with 21 assists and 17 digs. As a team, Immaculata recorded 33 kills and 66 digs.

Marywood closes out the regular season this Saturday when they host a tri-match with the University of Scranton and Kean University. The Pacers take on the cross-town Royals at 11:00 a.m. before meeting the Cougars at 1:00 p.m.
