Scranton, PA  - Marywood University women's tennis continued their hot streak, racing to their sixth consecutive win with a 8-1 victory over nearby Keystone College Tuesday afternoon in Scranton.  The win improved the Pacers to 6-5 (6-2 CSAC) on the year while Keystone slipped to 1-8 (1-6 CSAC).  The win keeps Marywood's playoff hopes alive as the Pacers enter their final two regular season matches to be played this weekend.

Playing without their number one and number three players, the Pacers were forced to slide players up several spots in the lineup.  However, Marywood jumped out to a 3-0 lead after doubles and won at No.2-5 singles for the easy win.  Keystone's Shiloh Richner defeated Marywood's Kara Hoff (Montoursville, PA) at No. 1 singles for the Giants' lone point of the day, earning a 7-5, 6-1 win.

Lindsay Burke (Yorktown, NY) won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 for Marywood and Nicole Siddall (Goshen, CT), Aubrey Klesh (West Hazleton, PA), Kristin Guba (Latham, NY) and Elizabeth Sullivan (Binghamton, NY) won at No. 3-6 singles, respectively, to seal the win.

Marywood returns to action Friday at Rosemont College with 3:00 pm CSAC match. The Pacers then play at Cedar Crest College on Saturday at 1:00 pm in Allentown.  Marywood needs to win at least one win in their last two matches to clinch a playoff berth.
