La Plume, PA - Marywood University used a 13-2 second half run to break open a tight game as the Pacers remained perfect on the year with a 58-49 victory over Keystone College in Colonial States Athletic Conference women's basketball action Saturday afternoon. With the win, Marywood moves to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the CSAC while Keystone falls to 1-4 and 1-1 in conference play.

Clinging to a 40-38 lead with 9:51 to play in the game, the Marywood put together a 13-2 run over the next eight minutes to pull away and secure the win.

Sophomore Mariah Schaeffer (Bainbridge, NY) led Marywood with 14 points and a team-high eight rebounds. Senior Lizzy Green (Shenandoah, PA) also finished in double-digits with 12 points. 

Jazmine Harris paced the Giants with14 points while pulling down a team-best seven rebounds. Ellen Fallon and Theresa Yazurlo each added 10 points for the Giants.

The Pacers pulled out the win despite shooting just 36.7 percent from the field during the game and 21.4 percent beyond three-point range. Keystone shot just 33 percent from the floor and went 5-22 from beyond the arc.

Marywood returns to the court on Monday when they host Misericordia University in a non-conference tilt scheduled to tip-off at 7:00 in the Insalaco Arena.
