Immaculata would hold the lead over much over the first and led by as many as 10 points at 20-10 on a John Boyd lay-up with 13:37 to play.

The Pacers battled back and would take their first lead of the game with 3:45 to play in the opening stanza when Sidney Tharpe (Victorville, CA) completed a three-point play.

Kyle Finklea put the Mighty Macs back in front with 53 seconds remaining in the half and the visitors would take a 36-32 lead into halftime after a Julius Lopez bucket just before the buzzer.
