Scranton, PA - Marywood University allowed just 17 points all day long as the Pacers improved to 2-0 in CSAC men's tennis action with a dominating 9-0 win over visiting Immaculata University Saturday afternoon in Scranton.  Marywood evened their record at 4-4 overall while the Mighty Macs remain winless on the year at 0-6 (0-2 CSAC).

Marywood made quick work of Immaculata in doubles action, surrending just five points while taking a 3-0 lead in the match.  Dan Reynolds (Downsville, NY) and Tim Franzone (Staten Island, NY) cruised to an 8-3 win at one-doubles while Evan Bolus (Clarks Summit, PA) and Bao Nguyen (Scranton, PA) teammed for for an 8-2 win at two-doubles.  Juan Serrano (West Chester, PA) and John Domider (Somerville, NJ) evened their record at 1-1 on the year at three-doubles with a 8-0 shutout win.

In singles action, Serrano picked up his first career win after allowing just two points in a 6-1, 6-1 win over Andre Brooks in the six-singles flight.  Nguyen shut-out Demetrios Vlahos 6-0, 6-0 at four singles while Bolus defeated Bobby DeYoung in the top spot 6-2, 6-3.

Marywood returns to action Tuesday when they travel to Gwynedd-Mercy College for a 3:30 pm match with the Griffins.
