Radnor, PA – 14th-ranked Cabrini College built an 11-4 halftime lead and held visiting Marywood University scoreless in the second half on their way to a 23-4 victory securing their ninth-consecutive unbeaten conference schedule and home-field advantage throughout the Colonial States Athletic Conference playoffs. With the win, the Cavaliers improve to 12-3 on the season while the Pacers close out the regular season with a 9-6 overall record including a 5-1 CSAC mark.

Cabrini claimed a 4-1 lead after the first period and led 11-4 at the intermission, as Marywood got three goals from Jamie Beagen (Patchogue, NY) and one from George Downey IV (Palmyra, PA) Ahead just three goals, 6-3, after Beagen scored a man-up goal off an assist from Nick Parks (Emmaus, PA) with 8:35 to play in the first half, the Cavaliers closed the second stanza on a 5-1 run.

Cabrini closed the game on a 12-0 run. Scott Reimer deposited four of the third quarter's last five goals and Casey Grugan chipped in with three goals and three assists in the last 30 minutes, extending the nation's second-longest consecutive points streak to 53 games.

The Cavaliers held a 54-23 advantage in shots for the game and won the groundball battle 44-33.

Senior goalkeeper Kevin Chenoweth started in the cage for the Cavaliers, logging 30 minutes and making five saves. Senior Bobby Chambers played the second half, posting six stops and keeping the Pacers off the scoreboard.

Jesse Habich (Broomall, PA) made eight saves through the first three quarters before turning the reigns over to Eric Luhrmann (Glens Falls, NY) who made four stops in the final period.

Marywood will host third-seeded Centenary College in the CSAC Semifinals this coming Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. The Pacers defeated the Cyclones 13-5 on April 1st.
