Gwynedd Valley, PA - Gwynedd-Mercy College cruised to a 9-0 win over visiting Marywood in CSAC women's tennis action Monday afternoon.  The Griffins improved to 3-1 (2-0 CSAC) while keeping the Pacers winless on the year in five matches (0-2 CSAC).

After sweeping doubles play, the Griffins easily won five of six singles matches.  In the only tight match of the afternoon, Marywod's Kristin Guba (Latham, NY) fought hard in her second set before falling 9-7 in a tiebreaker. 

Marywood will look to get into the win column Tuesday when they travel to face Immaculata University at 3:30 pm.
