Allentown, PA – A first half goal from DeSales' Jamie Matthews proved to be the difference maker as the host Bulldogs held on to edge visiting Marywood 1-0 in non-conference field hockey action Monday afternoon in Allentown. Marywood dropped their fourth straight contest after opening the season and will head into Wednesday night's conference opener with a 1-4 record. DeSales improved to 2-6 with the win.
