Dallas, PA - Lisa Hanselman scored her team-leading fifth goal of the season and Siobhan Blancaflor scored two second half goals as visiting Marywood University topped host Misericordia University 3-1 for their fourth consecutive win Wednesday night at the Cougar's Mangelsdorf Field.

Misericordia would break open a scoreless game in the 11th minute of play on a nice combination play between Kim Suchoski and Sam Helmstetter.  Suchoski snuck behind the Pacer back line and finished to the far post.  Marywood would respond in the 25th minute of play when Hanselman (Manheim, PA) broke down the left flank, received a through ball and dribbled in on a break from 30 yards out.  Crossing just inside the 18-yard box, Hanselman ripped a shot past Misericordia's keeper to knot the game at 1-1.

The Pacers (4-2) came out strong to start the second half, using fresh legs to press for the go-ahead goal.  Marywood would get their second goal just over three minutes into the second half when Blancaflor (Haddam, CT) got the eventual game winner after settling a nice through ball from Lacey Habicht (Woodcliff Lake, NJ).  Blancaflor would put the game away at the 75:00 mark and stretch Marywood's lead to 3-1 with a breakaway, chipping the ball to the upper right corner of the goal for her fourth of the season.

The Pacers, who have played two games in two days and have four overall in a six-day stretch, held off a Misercordia push over the final 15 minutes.  Marywood out-shot the hosts 10-7 on the day and net-minder Meghan Coyle (Endicott, NY) had two saves.  The Cougars stand at 2-6 after dropping their sixth straight against one of the toughest non-conference schedules available.

Marywood will only be able to recover for two days before returning to action Saturday in Radnor when the Pacers play their second CSAC game of the season against host Cabrini College.  The Cavaliers are coming off a 1-1 double-overtime tie against CSAC rival Immaculata University.  Kick-off is set for 12:30 pm.
