Scranton, PA – Lee Powers scored two goals and Brett Megee and Ryan Jones established new program records to lead Marywood University to a 4-0 victory over Keystone College in a Colonial States Athletic Conference contest between the local rivals on Wednesday night. The Pacers, who have now won five consecutive games, also set a program record with their seventh shutout of the season while improving to 10-3 on the season and 4-0 in CSAC play.

Powers (Mill Hall, PA) opened the scoring in the 11th minute of Wednesday evening's contest by picking up a loose ball at the top of Keystone's 18-yard box an firing a low, right-footed shot just inside the post for his first goal of the season. The Pacers doubled their lead in the 17th minute when Megee (Easton, PA) headed a short goal kick behind Keystone's back four which Christian Lawlor (Hillsdale, NJ) ran onto and calmly slotted home the breakaway opportunity for his seventh goal of the season.

A game after tying Marywood's career goal scoring record, Megee would break it in the 24th minute with an unassisted goal, collecting a loose ball in the Giants penalty area and blasting home his 7th goal of the year and 19th of his career, breaking the mark formerly held by Rob Cherrington (2000-2004) and giving the Pacers a comfortable, 3-0 halftime cushion.

Powers would close out the scoring in the 50th minute of the contest with a tremendous, one-time left-footed strike off a Ryan Jones' corner kick the zipped through the box to an unmarked Powers. Credited with his ninth of assist of the season on the play, Jones established a new single-season record for helpers in a year.

Marywood held a commanding 18-4 advantage in shots for the game and a 7-3 edge in corner kicks. Shane Quinn (Clarks Summit, PA) made two saves in nearly 70 minutes of action while Matt Roman (Williamsport, PA) played the final 20:05 in the Pacers' net without making a save to give Marywood their single-season record seventh clean sheet.

Daniel O'Rourke turned aside three Pacers' shots in a losing effort for Keystone, who dropped to 4-7 overall and 1-3 in conference play.

Marywood returns to action on Saturday when they travel to Immaculata University for a CSAC tilt scheduled to kickoff at 1:00 p.m.
