Scranton, PA – Marywood University overcame a two games to one deficit and rallied for a thrilling 3-2 win over Keuka College in a non-conference volleyball match on Saturday afternoon. The Pacers improve to 8-4 on the season with the victory while the Storm's record drops to 9-6.

Keuka claimed the first game 25-21 before Marywood leveled the match with a 25-21 win of their own in the second game. The Storm pushed the Pacers to the brink with a 25-18 win in the third game, but Marywood once again drew even with a 25-20 decision in the fourth game before claiming the victory with a 15-13 win in the decisive fifth set.

Emily Fillman (Clarion, PA) and Kim Lope (Clifton, NJ) each had 14 kills to lead the Pacers' attack. Alyssa Hartranft (Mountain Top, PA) dished out a match-best 45 assists while Rachel Tollett (Elkins Park, PA) led all players with 41 digs.

Keuka got 12 kills and 19digs from Raelle Naegely and 10 kills from Brittany Smyder. Katy Geers collected a team-high 35 assists for the Storm.

Marywood's next match will be played on Thursday evening at Penn State Berks.  First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Reading.
