Scranton, PA - By virtue of a Rosemont loss to Cedar Crest Tuesday afternoon, Marywood University has clinched the sixth and final playoff spot in the upcoming Colonial States Athletic Conference field hockey playoffs.  Marywood will take on third seeded Keystone College Saturday afternoon at a time to be determined.  Keystone will host the game.

Marywood (3-11, 2-6 CSAC) needed some much needed help from the Falcons and got it.  Cedar Crest beat Rosemont 2-0 to force a three-way tie between Marywood, Cedar Crest and Rosemont.  With all teams holding a 2-6 league mark, and with each team beating eachother, head-to-head competition was thrown out as a tie-breaker.  Marywood then clinched the sixth seed by holding a minus three goal differential in conference games while Rosemont's was the next closest at minus four.

First year Head Coach Megan Bullock will lead the Pacers into the post season for the third consecutive year.  Keystone narrowly defeated the Pacers in the regular season, 1-0 on October 13.  Game time for Saturday's first round matchup has not yet been announced.
