LaPlume, PA - Trailing by 12 at halftime and by as much as 14 points early in the second half, Marywood University used the long ball to climb back and take a 65-59 win from host Keystone College Monday night in CSAC men's basketball action.  The win moves Marywood to 3-1 on the year and 1-0 in league play while the Giants were handed their first loss of the year and stand at 3-1, 0-1 CSAC.

Cold shooting by the visitors led to a 12-point lead for the Giants at the break as Keystone went into the locker room with a 29-17 lead.  Marywood hit just over 30% of their shots in the opening frame while the hosts hit over 40% from the floor.  Down 15-14 after Tyler Reinhard's only three of the first half, Keystone took control of the first half with a 15-2 run over the last 8:28 of the half.

Things would change, however, in the second half as Reinhard (Highlands, NJ) got hot from behind the arc, nailing 4 attempts from long range.  The Pacers would eventually take a 54-53 on a John Foreman (Sleepy Hollow, NY) jumper and the Marywood defense held Keystone scoreless for over a five minute stretch with less than six minutes to play as the Pacers pulled out the win.

Reinhard led all scorers with a game-high 18 points while Tyrek Coleman (Harlem, NY) added 15 for the Pacers.  Matthew Medici (Princeton Junction, NJ) added 13 points on 5 of 8 shooting from the floor and grabbed a team-high 9 boards for Marywood.

Kenneth Hardnett recorded a double-double for the Giants, leading the team with 17 points and snagging a game-high 16 boards.  Mike Kelly added 16 points for the hosts.

Marywood returns to action Wednesday when they host Vassar College at 7:00 pm in the Insalaco Arena.
