Glenside, PA - Chris Brown, Michael Stauffer and Ryan Widenor all won key events and teamed with fellow freshman Benjamin Raines to win the medley relay as Marywood University picked up their first ever win in men's swimming as the Pacers edged host Arcadia University 97-93 Saturday afternoon in Glenside.

Marywood (1-6) got two wins from Brown in the 200 individual medley and the 100 breaststroke while Stauffer won the 100 backstroke.  Widenor was the first-place finisher in the 100 butterfly while the Pacers won the medley relay in a time of 1:47.19. 

Brown (Mechanicsburg, PA) won the 200 IM in a time of 2:13.60 and followed with a win in the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:04.95.  Stauffer (Nesquehoning, PA) won the 100 backstroke in a time of 1:00.77 while Widenor (Peckville, PA) touched first in the 100 butterfly in 56.16.

The team of Stauffer, Brown, Widenor and Raines (Scranton, PA) then won the medley relay in 1:47.19 to ensure the four-point win.

Marywood returns to action next Saturday when they visit Hood College in Maryland.
