Scranton, PA - Marywood University placed five players in double-figures and connected on nearly 53% of their shots from the floor as the host Pacers downed Berkeley College of New Jersey 79-61 in non-conference men's basketball action Sunday afternoon in Scranton. The win moves Marywood to 9-13 on the year while the Bulldogs fall to 3-19.

Marywood built a solid ten-point lead by halftime and carried that double-digit lead for much of the second half until Justin Lewandowski nailed a three for the Bulldogs to pull Berkeley back to within seven with just under ten remaining. Lewandowski would finish the night with a game-high 20 points and connected on 6 of 12 attempts from behind the arc, but the visitors could not cut more into Marywood's lead and soon the Pacers were back up to a comfortable double-digit lead.

Sidney Tharpe (Victorville, CA) led five Marywood players in double-digits with 15 points while Chadli Charlot (Lake Worth, FL) and Tyler Reinhard (Highlands, NJ) each had 13. Matthew Medici (Princeton Junction, NJ) had 12 points while D.J. Strayhorn (Henryville, PA) had 11.

Three other Bulldogs joined Lewandowski in double-figures as Donovan Black had 16 and Jamal Salaam had 11. Andrew Jarvis added 10 for the visitors.

Marywood returns to action Wednesday night at 7:00 pm when they host Philadelphia Biblical University at 7:00 pm in CSAC action.
