The win moves Marywood to 5-3 overall (1-0 CSAC) while BBC slipped to 1-1 (1-1 CSAC). Marywood took control in doubles play as Greg Chilson (Mountainside, NJ) and Evan Bolus (Clarks Summit, PA) easily won at one-doubles, 8-2. Todd Doran (South Windsor, CT) teamed with fellow freshman Wyatt Nolan (Montoursville, PA) for an 8-1 win at three-doubles. Marywood dropped their lone point of the day at two-doubles as BBC's team of Ryne Davies and Aaron Hixson pulled out a 9-8 (7-0) win over Daniel Pfafman (Stratford, NJ) and Barrett Wentworth (Clarks Summit, PA). Pfafman would get redemption in singles play, earning a 6-1, 6-3 win over Matt Benjamin at four-singles. Chilson cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win in the top singles flight, while Bolus, Doran, Jones and Bao Nguyen (Scranton, PA) all easily won at two, three, five and six singles, respectively.
